Centre National de Recherche Scientifique CNRS is hosted in Compiègne University of Technology (CNRS), a modern university in France's Picardy region with strong activities in applied research and very close contacts to industry. CNRs' excellent relations with industry are reflected in the large sums of industry funding attracted by the university each year, in addition to regional, national and European funding. Moreover, the so-called Transfer Centre , which is part of the university, manages industry contacts and industrial projects, and hosts an incubator for start-up companies created on the basis of technologies developed by scientists at CNRS. A nanobiotechnology research and training platform has been created and funded, that brings together relevant equipment (2 AFM, ESEM, nanoindenter, confocal microscope, interference microscope, nanomachining equipment, microfluidics, solid-state NMR, LC-ESI-MS, CE, GC) and technical services, as well as research institutes (biomaterial engineering department, biotechnology department, mechanical engineering department) and the scientists involved. POLYINTELL SA POLYINTELL is a private company, founded in July 2004 based of skill of successful Scientifics in Rouen (France). Thanks to its innovations, POLYINTELL is the winner of the Contest of Innovative and Technological Companies of the French Ministry of Research & Technology and the ESF. POLYINTELL was awarded for the third Special Prize of the national jury of the Contest of Innovative and Technological Companies of the French Ministry of Research & Technology. We have special competency on the development of innovative polymers for applications in life and pharmaceutical sciences. AFFINIMIP™ are molecularly imprinted polymers. These new polymeric materials are able to mimic the selective binding sites of antibodies and enzymes. AFFINIMIP™ have comparable selectivity to immuno-sorbent with the advantage of thermal and chemical stability. AFFINIMIP™ can be prepared in several formats:
