Judith Ray
	ESR - QMUL Judith was born in Halifax , Yorkshire in 1986. At six months old her family moved to Northamptonshire where she grew up in a small town called Rothwell. At 18, Judith decided she wanted to return to the north to attend university and achieved a first class BSc (hons) in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool in 2007. It was during her university years Judith fell in love with city life and therefore decided to stay in Liverpool after obtaining her degree. Judith worked for almost two years at IOTA NanoSolutions Ltd, were she formulated nanoparticles for external companies working on cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and more. Judith started her Phd with Dr Resmini at Queen Mary, University of London in October 2009. She is studying the synthesis and characterisation of nanoparticles for drug delivery.
