Kick Off Meeting
The first meeting of the IRMED project was organised by the Project Coordinator, Dr Marina Resmini, and hosted at Queen Mary, University of London on 3rd September 2010. It was attended by all three partners. This was an important step to ensure that all scientists were aware of the issues involved, had a clear understanding of the European Commission, Marie Curie Actions, Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP) requirements of this scientific project in terms of research, training, recruitment, secondment and reporting. The main aim was for all PIs to present their planned work for the project, to duscuss all the collaborations, to establish new links and also plan secondments and recruitments. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, with particular regards to the training of the Fellows, and to finalise the details regarding the organisation of the first summer school and international meeting.
