Workshop 1 - Project progression
The first IRMED workshop was organized by POLYINTELL and held at Val de Reuil, France, on 5th November 2010. The meeting was attended by representatives of all teams, IRMED fellows and researchers from POLYINTELL. The purpose of this workshop was to discuss the progress of the project and discuss several issues, such as the implementation of the work program, the recruitment and secondments of researcher as well as the training offered by POLYINTELL to the seconded fellows on innovative MIP technology and materials. It was also an opportunity for the PIs to discuss management issues and to agree on timelines for the compilation of the first year report and the organization of future project events. The partners and researchers discussed the work that will be carried out at POLYINTELL by the CNRS and QMUL seconded researchers. The teams reported the preliminary results that have been carried out since the start of the project. Deliverables on Work Package 1 as described on Annex I have made good progress. This was a very effective workshop to strengthen the communication between partners, exchange results and to meet the researchers. The next workshop will be held on 2nd February 2012 at the same venue.
