1st IRMED Scientific Meeting
The First IRMED International Scientific Meeting, was organized by Prof. Karsten Haupt,Centre National de Recherche Scientifique, Compiègne University of Technology, on 29th June 2011 and hosted at the UTC centre in Paris, France. The meeting was attended by all IRMED PIs and Fellows. The theme of the meeting was "Existing MIPs to Market". All Researchers gave a 30 minutes presentation on their scientific results. This was followed by interesting discussions and ideas for the future. These discussions were also a valuable opportunity to talk about secondments and collaborations. In addition the Project Coordinator met with the Fellows and highlighted the requirements of the researchers and allowed their views to be taken into consideration in the organization the next events. The PIs meeting took place after the presentations. Progression of the project deliverables, future events, preparation of the Mid-Term Review Meeting and report were discussed.
